His great great great grandfather Henry Traves born in Louth or Nth Ormsby, Lincolnshire came to Australia 1840-1850?, married 1857 in Sydney to Harriett Dury born Wiltshire c1838. Harriet and her sister Sarah arrived in Australia 1856 from Wiltshire. Henry and Harriett's marriage certificate states Henry's father was Henry also and mother Jane East. The children of their union were William Henry 1858,Ann Maria 1860, Alfred James 1862, Edwin 1864, John 1866, Charles Herdman 1868, Emily Jane 1870, Frederick Michael 1872, Michael Reuben 1874, Fanny Esther Jane 1876, Alice Rose Elizabeth 1879, Clara Ellen Isabel 1883. Yesterday I found that Emily Jane had married and had a child and named her Thirza, not a common name, later that evening I found a Thirza Traves born 1878/79 in Kingston upon Hull, Yorkshire,Yorkshire not so far from Louth area in Lincolnshire I see! I've found many Trave families in and around the Louth area and am sure they are extended family. Maybe James and Jane are part thereof? I would be so appreciative if you could meet my request. I would be happy to donate something towards the work you do, it is very difficult to research locality wise from the other side of the world but I do have The Phillimore Atlas
